100 for 100

My schedule doesn't easily allow me to fully workout everyday.  Typically I have about three days a week where I can find time to break a sweat, but schedules often change and "emergencies" seem happen and get in the way.  To supplement my normal workout schedule, and add some consistency to my routine, I've decided to do 100 pushups everyday for 100 days.  As I'm writing this post I've just completed day 46.
"Get comfortable with being uncomfortable!" ~ Jillian Michaels
Why pushups? Pushups are a very basic body weight exercise.  They build strength in your core, forearms, wrists, upper arms, shoulders and chest.  Pushups are also proven to increase your metabolism, and boost your confidence.  Plus they give you an effective workout in very little time.
"I believe that every human has a finite amount of heartbeats.  I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises." ~ Neil Armstrong

"Yesterday is gone.  Tomorrow has not yet come.  We have only today.  Let us begin." ~ Mother Teresa
Carpe diem! Start your own streak today!
Get going and let me know how you do.
